A life investment in intense training has transformed one man into a chiseled
form of near perfection. The level of vitality flowing through his body is
astounding. This man, Cula, is restless for lack of a suitable adversary.
Cula's obsession drove him to form the Fighting Titans organization. But even
among its vast ranks exists no one at his level. This rich, forceful man has
therefore decided that since he cannot find a worthy opponent, he will create
one. No expense will be spared, no stone will be left unturned. Cula's devoted
syndicate will provide the challenge he so desperately desires, no matter what
it takes.
Through various means, honorable and impure, the Fighting Titans will bring
together the world's greatest martial artists, to join Cula in the
organization's most presitigious tournament to date. Who among them will
prove to be a match for this godlike fighter? Cula's soul is ablaze with
excitement as he impatiently awaits the battle he's been dreaming of for so
long...

When Kaori was but a child, her father, a karate champion, suffered an accident which left
him permanently disabled. Devastated, he gave up all hope, becoming an obsessive
gambler and sliding into alcoholism. As a result their family became steeped
in debt. Her father's trophies and medals were quickly sold to pawn shops for
a pittance. Her mother, who had only known the life of a housewife, took on
a job as a maid. Eventually Kaori herself was forced to take on a number of odd
jobs, something she greatly resented. Her mother, now the household's only
source of strength, was nearly broken by stress. These years were especially
trying on the once happy, prosperous family.
One fateful day, when Kaori was seventeen, a foreign businessman visited
her family home without warning, proposing to pay off all their debt. All
he asked in return was for Kaori train to become an even greater karateka
than her father. Of course the entire family was highly skeptical of this
stranger and his outrageous idea. However, desperately wishing for financial
security, Kaori swiftly agreed to the stranger's proposal.
Kaori threw herself into her martial arts instruction. After her father
attended one of her early training sessions, the love of karate was reawakened
in him and he dedicated himself to helping her prepare to follow in his
footsteps. The bond between father and daughter was restored, and the once
shameful man was finally able to overcome his negative habits. Seeing Kaori's
efforts were sincere, the family's mysterious benefactor kept his word and
saw to it that their debt was erased. He then disappeared and the family
thought nothing more of him.
Though her tenacity and incredible martial arts skill secured her many
victories and ensured a steady paycheck, Kaori had never abandoned her
childhood dream of becoming a fashion model. So at the tender age of twenty,
she began to prepare for an illustrious new career. Owing to her poise and
natural beauty, it wasn't long before she had broken into the industry and
become a star.
In all, six years passed before the family savior came back into their lives.
Declaring it was time for Kaori to uphold her end of the bargain, he sponsored
her entry into an exclusive martial arts tournament. His reasoning for doing
so was simple: since he'd never had the chance to face her legendary father,
he would live out his wish by fighting Kaori instead. All she had to do to
complete their transaction was advance far enough in the tournament to face
him, and then promise to fight more fiercely than she ever had before. Win or
lose, Kaori looked forward to the challenge. Cula was waiting.
