Many exciting announcements were made at the Retro-gaming Connexion of 2010.
For starters, the event hosted the first public announcement and world debut
of Star Odyssey for the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive. After being unveiled to a
stunned audience, the game was made available for play by attendees over the
course of the two-day event. In addition, a playable preview of Sango Fighter 2
for the PC was demonstrated, discussed and presented for people to try using
a USB gamepad. Furthermore, Nightmare Busters for the Super Nintendo / Super
Famicom was lavishly displayed at a second table, where attendees were invited
to participate in a high score tournament for a chance to win a free pre-production
copy of the game.
Once again, we must thank Retro-gaming Connexion team member Guillaume Dupré
for inviting us to attend this event, and for arranging our accomodations at the
hotel Résidence du Pré. Special thanks also go to Christophe Marchand
and Gregory Villeval, friends of Nightmare Busters co-developer Christophe Gayraud,
who aided us in our demonstration, presentation and discussion of Nightmare Busters.
